The MRC Seminar Series continues on 14th October with a talk from Dr Ian Mudway, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Toxicology within the MRC Centre for Environment and Health at Imperial College London.

As COP26 approaches at the end of October and representatives from around the globe gather in Glasgow to agree on policies to ensure global net zero emissionsDr Ian Mudway will join us to give us insights into his research on the effects of air pollution on human health. During his talk, Dr Mudway will describe work that he and his team have done to analyse the effect of air quality on cognition and DNA changes (methylation) in specific cohorts of people and how this information can be used to evaluate government environmental policies, such as the creation of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London.
